How can Fruitometry’s orchard scanning technology improve your yield and optimise labour resources?
Unlike traditional methods, AI technology identifies crop features across entire blocks on your orchard with unmatched precision. This provides you with comprehensive insights that help you make earlier crop management decisions at all stages of the growing season.
Within 24 hours of an orchard scan our Fruitometry system generates a heatmap of the current fruit density per square metre for every row of your entire orchard. Armed with this powerful and accurate information you can see the problem areas of your orchard and start adjusting your management to fix them.

At what stages can our technology be utilised
Using Fruitometry’s digital crop estimate across the growing season provides growers and managers with insights to make earlier crop management decisions. Our current technology can be utilised at varying stages of the growing season including winter buds, shoots, flower buds, fruitlets, and fruit.

How does the Digital Crop Estimate (DCE) technology work
The field units mounted on our quad bikes and ATVs contain a range of cameras and sensors that capture crop density information and orchard characteristics.

Meet our customers
Marc says it didn’t take much convincing for his orchard manager to see how the Fruitometry heatmaps could be used to make strategic decisions. A full orchard scan in January clearly demonstrated that 30% of the orchard had small fruit, with unacceptably high fruit density. They agreed to bring thinning crews just across that part of the orchard saving thousands of dollars in labour.
